Tuesday, April 18: The NC Federation for Republican Women is hosting a Legislative Day in Raleigh.
Republican women from all across the state will gather in Raleigh. During the day attendees will meet with our NC Legislators, State Superintendent of Public Education, Catherine Truitt and visit the Supreme Court. This a fabulous opportunity to meet like minded women across the state, speak directly to members and leadership in the General Assembly.
There is ample opportunity to ask questions and voice your opinions directly to the women and men who craft and vote on legislation that influences your life and those of all NC citizens. Once we have a have a better idea of the number attending, Tim Reeder, will reserve a room and time to meet with everyone from Pitt County. In the past we have carpooled and it is an easy hour and fifteen minute drive from Greenville to downtown Raleigh. The link includes the details on the schedule, parking and lunch.
Beth, Ludie, Cathy, myself and others have attended in past years and recommend attending. This year Ludie, Beth and I are EXTREMELY disappointed to have obligations that prevent us from attending. Talk to your friends and get a group together and make a plan to attend. Feel free to contact me if you have questions.
